Early voting for the Texas Primaries begins on February 20 and continues through March 2. Election day is March 6. Aldine ISD reminds you to do your civic duty and vote. There will be 46 early voting locations where Harris County citizens seeking to vote as Republican or Democrat can vote.

You can learn more about candidates and issues that affect you by using several online websites. Voter Education Resources include:

  • allows educators to become more informed and active by determining which candidates are running in particular areas, and provides their contact information as well as information on how to get involved prior to the election.
  • League of Women Voters – Texas Voter Guide is a nonpartisan and unbiased list of candidates in contested races. It provides answers to questions posed by the League of Women Voters.
  • Your Vote, Your Voice is a flier (shown below) with important information on election dates, a reminder of the importance of voting in the primary election, and a list of helpful websites with information compiled by various education groups.
