Thanks for Joining Us at the AISD School Choice Festival
Hundreds of families dropped by the festival on Nov. 9 to learn about the district’s school choice options such as magnet schools, International Baccalaureate® program (PreK-12), and much more.
The event gave families time to talk with staff and students from the different magnet schools, International Baccalaureate® World Schools, and representatives from choice high school programs.
In addition to learning about the different school choice options, performing and visual arts students entertained the crowds, while the young engineers showcased robotics.
It’s Not Too Late to Learn More & Apply
The district offers a wide variety of school choice options — ranging from early childhood to the 12th grade — that allow parents to elect out of an assigned boundary school zone. Most of the campuses specialize in a specific area or areas of interest. There are even programs for students as young as three years of age.
