After George Floyd’s death, Reed utilized her position to increase awareness and created think tanks in organizations, including the Texas School Public Relations (TSPRA). In her Aldine ISD, her efforts led to a Board-approved equity resolution and an equity audit that will be used to address inequities in district policies and practices.
