Aldine Independent School District has received ASBO’s Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting. This award represents a significant achievement and reflects your commitment to transparency and high-quality financial reporting.

Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to Aldine Independent School District for its annual comprehensive financial report.

The report has been judged by an impartial panel to meet the high standards of the program, which includes demonstrating a constructive “spirit of full disclosure” to communicate its financial story and motivate potential users and user groups to read the report.

The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.

Aldine has attained the highest possible rating established by the Texas Education Agency’s guidelines and regulations. The district has received a “Superior Achievement” rating, which represents the highest accolade under the School FIRST system. Achieving a score of 96 is a notable accomplishment that indicates Aldine ISD’s compliance with all requirements for financial excellence as defined by the Texas Education Agency.
