Community Youth Services

Community Youth Services (CYS) is a school-based crisis intervention, counseling and case coordination program that provides practical assistance to families of children and youth who are experiencing problems. In partnership with the local schools and other governmental entities, CYS services are available to students in fourteen Harris County school districts, the Pasadena Police Department and the Educational Services Division of the Harris County Juvenile Probation Department.

All services are voluntary and provided at no cost to the family. Appropriate referrals include, but are not limited to:

  • Parent-Child Conflict
  • School/academic
  • Mental health
  • Substance abuse
  • Runaway/homelessness
  • Pregnancy/Teen Parenting
  • Adolescent development
  • Grief
