Office of Communications
The Office of Communications promotes the district’s students, staff and programs by disseminating news releases, photography and videos to local media outlets. In addition, it assists in providing content on the district’s web site and ensuring that the appropriate content is translated from English to Spanish. The department also produces external and internal newsletters and organizes several district-wide special events throughout the year.

Peachjar’s platform streamlines school-to-home communication by distributing valuable school and community resources directly to families as digital flyers. By enabling our district to go paperless, Peachjar helps us save thousands of trees each year.

Media Guidelines
Aldine ISD welcomes media members into our schools and strives to provide the most accurate and timely information available.
School Interviews
Please contact the Director of External Communications if you’d like to interview Aldine ISD students, educators, and administrators. We are happy to put you in touch with the correct person for your story and can arrange an interview time.
School Visits
If you want to visit a school, please contact the Director of External Communications. Media are not permitted on district property without a Communications team member present.
Photographing Students and Staff
Some students can not be photographed. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) allows students and parents to opt out of releasing specific information about students, including photographs. Aldine ISD operates in compliance with this law. Before allowing anyone to take photos, videos, and/or quotes from our students, a building administrator must verify that these individuals have the proper release information on file.
Emergency Communications and Communications Channels
In an emergency, the Office of Communications collaborates with district and campus administration to provide clear, accurate, and timely internal and external communications to schools, staff, students, parents, the community, and media using the established communications channels. Public Records
Aldine ISD’s Public Information Office is responsible for ensuring that the Texas Public Information Act is followed at the District and will work with members of the public to help provide public information.
