Career and Technical Education Department

The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department of Aldine ISD is dedicated to preparing students for success in college, careers, and life by providing rigorous, hands-on learning opportunities that align with industry standards and workforce demands.

Our CTE programs empower students to explore a wide range of high-wage, high-skill, and high-demand career pathways in fields such as health science, information technology, engineering, business, education, hospitality, and skilled trades. Through real-world experiences, industry certifications, dual credit opportunities, and strong partnerships with local businesses and postsecondary institutions, Aldine ISD CTE ensures students graduate with a competitive edge and a clear vision for their future.

The Aldine Independent School District offers career and technical education courses in the following areas; agriculture food, & natural resources, architectural and construction, Arts, a/v technology and communications, business management and administration, education and training, finance, health science, hospitality and tourism, human services, information technology, law public safety corrections and security, manufacturing, marketing, sales and services, science technology engineering and mathematics (stem) and transportation, distribution and logistics and exploring careers. Admission to these programs is based on ability, aptitude, interest, grade level and class size.
