MacArthur, Nimitz Meet to Determine Fourth Playoff Team in 18-5A Volleyball

The MacArthur High Lady Generals and the Nimitz High Lady Cougars will meet in a one-game playoff match on Friday, Nov. 1 to determine District 18-5A’s fourth and final playoff team.

The game will be played at 6 p.m. at the M.O. Campbell Educational Center.

The Lady Generals, under the direction of head coach Lynda Eastland, will enter the game with a 14-16 season record, while the Lady Cougars, under the direction of head coach Karla Hamilton, will enter the game with a 12-13 season record.

The winner of that game will advance to the bi-district round of the playoffs to take on Cy-Fair on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 6 p.m. at the M.O. Campbell Educational Center. Cy-Fair won District 17-5A and will enter the game with a 30-3 record.

The MOC will also host two playoff games on Monday, Nov. 4, as Tomball Memorial will take on Milby at 5:30 p.m. followed by Tomball versus Reagan at 7 p.m.
