Hill Intermediate Students and Faculty Visit Prairie View A&M University

Students at Hill Intermediate participated in Middle School Day at Prairie View A & M University held November 1. The day was exciting as well as informational for the Hill Intermediate students and faculty members who participated in the field trip. This gave students the opportunity to explore the university and visit with college students, faculty and staff. Additionally, Dr. Berry Norwood welcomed the group to the School of Architecture where students and faculty were able to explore different architectural models and learn about the development of designs at drafting tables.

Sandra Gentry-Jones, fifth grade counselor at Hill Intermediate School, coordinated the trip. Campus staff members Meagan Wells, Steven Roethler and Tony Padgett all served as chaperones.
