Davis Ninth Grade School Basketball Team Gives Back to Community

The Davis Ninth Grade School basketball team took time out of their Thanksgiving break to help out Houstonians in need. The coaches and players volunteered at the Houston Food Bank. The Davis Ninth Falcons helped organize and sort through food that was distributed to families.

The Davis Ninth Falcon players were happy to give back to the community.

“We wanted to show that we are more than just kids who play basketball,” said freshman student-athlete, Arthur Johnson.  “We care about others and this was a great opportunity to give back to our community.”

Everyone is proud of the students for their community involvement.
