Campus Teacher of the Year: Caraway Intermediate

One of Aldine ISD’s campus teachers of the year who will be honored at the [icons icon_name=”icon-external-link” icon_size=”14px”] Teacher of the Year Breakfast on March 7, 2014.

When asked about his teaching philosophy, he responded:

My teaching philosophy is based on a quote by Colin Powell, “There are no secrets to success; it is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.” One of my most cherished memories is when a student told me “Mr. Willrich, you make us want to learn”. Students will give their best effort when they know that you genuinely care about their success. As I teach and question my students, I try to find opportunities for success at every learning level.
