Parker Intermediate Hosts Love That Book Family Literacy Breakfast

Parker-Intermediate-Love-That-Book-Family-Breakfast-Literacy-BreakfastParker Intermediate School recently hosted a Love That Book Family Literacy Breakfast. At the event, parents used laptops to learn how their children can utilize their Google accounts to get right to the task at hand — assignments or projects — or access information provided by their teacher.

Families also enjoyed eating breakfast, reading books together and listening to students recite poems.

“The breakfast was very successful,” said Elena Moore, information literacy specialist at the campus and event organizer. “More than 50 families came out to support the event.”
