Eisenhower High’s Kisha Jones Named District 18-5A Coach of the Year

Kisha Jones, head girls’ basketball coach at Eisenhower High School, has been named the District 18-5A Coach of the Year in Girls’ Basketball.

This is not the first time she has been honored. Jones also earned the Coach of the Year distinction in 2013.

Under Jones’ direction, the Eisenhower High girls’ basketball team won the District 18-5A championship and a playoff berth.

One of Jones’ players, Shaqueria Debose, has been selected to play in the Greater Houston Area Girls Basketball Association (GHAGBA) All-Star Game on April 5. Debose averaged 17.5 points per game during the 2013-14 season.
