MacArthur High School Brigade Belles Crowned State Grand Champions

The MacArthur Brigade Belles Dance Team competed in Danceline Productions’ Lone Star State Competition March 1 in Montgomery High School. The Brigade Belles entered the competition as a medium/intermediate advanced team. Both the Brigade Belles officers and the Brigade Belles dance team were named State Grand Champions.

Additionally, Paola Platero was awarded the Anita Jefferson Connely Award for outstanding leadership, integrity, dedication and hard work.

The MacArthur Brigade Belles are under the direction of Ashley Robinson. Robinson is very proud of the students.

“The Belles earned and deserved all recognition and awards they received,” said Robinson. “They all work so hard to perfect their skills.”

The Belles are now preparing to compete in Showtime’s International Dance competition at SeaWorld in April.
