Carver High Dance Students Present “dirt”

Carver-High-Dance-dirt-2BCarver High dance students will present a new creation by Christopher Cardenas entitled “dirt.”

The performance is set for Wednesday, April 9 at 6:00 p.m. at the campus’ auditorium. Tickets are $5.

The creative piece explores the different meanings and expressions of the word “dirt.”

Cardenas and the dancers thought of ways to describe and express “dirt” in as many ways as possible.

Cardenas, dance instructor at Carver High, chose students in the school’s dance program to participate in the show, which also includes 16 freshmen dancers.

Everyone in the community is invited to attend and support the students.

Below are images of the Carver High School dance students as they rehearse for their performance.
