Kujawa Elementary School Student Wins 2nd Place in National Magnet School Poster Contest

Magnet Schools of America sponsored the [icons icon_name=”icon-external-link” icon_size=”14px”]ninth Annual National Magnet School Student Poster Contest. It is part of the celebration of National Magnet School Month in February. This is a national initiative to highlight and promote magnet schools across the country.

This year students had the option to express or interpret one of the pillars of magnet schools or all five.

Online voting for the top five posters from each level (elementary, middle and high) took place during National Magnet School Month. Voters had to vote on which poster best addressed the criteria. Students had to adhere to theme as well as provide a clear and concise message that articulated the theme well. They also voted on originality and organization as well as the use of color and design.

John Duong, a fourth grade student, from [icons icon_name=”icon-external-link” icon_size=”14px”]Kujawa Elementary School won second place in the elementary level. Kujawa Elementary School is an [icons icon_name=”icon-external-link” icon_size=”14px”]IB World School. The campus offers the Primary Years Program. John’s teacher is Kelly Patterson.
