[dropcap color=”#888″ type=”square”]T[/dropcap]he students at Hoffman Middle School just got a kickstart to their school year. Carlos Wallace visited the campus recently to donate school supplies. He also took the time to encourage students to stay focused on doing well in school.

Wallace is CEO of the Houston-based promotions company Sol-Caritas. His company supports many charitable programs in the community. Wallace is also an author. He wrote a motivational book based in large part on his own experiences.

To motivate students to do well in school, Wallace announced a free comedy show. The free event would be for those who show a strong commitment to their education.

Wallace established The Alice Wallace Foundation in memory of his mother. As a teacher, she instilled in him the importance of an education. The Foundation provides scholarships for students to pursue their college dreams.

Thank you for caring about our students!
