Carver Dance Company performs at Mayor Turner’s inauguration ceremony

The Carver Dance Company performed at Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner’s Inauguration on January 4 at Jones Hall. They danced as The Houston Symphony gave a live performance of “Danzon No. 2” by Arturo Marquez. The dance company received applause during the performance and afterwards received a roaring standing ovation. The Carver Dance Company is directed by Sarita Salinas.
