Aldine Noon Optimist Club donates bikes to AISD elementary schools to promote reading

Aldine ISD Board Member and Aldine Noon Optimist Club member Steve Mead poses with fellow Optimist Club members Stacey Smith and Judy Hoya as the Optimist Club donated 68 bikes (two for each of Aldine ISD’s 34 elementary schools) to promote reading.

The bikes will be given away to two students at each of Aldine’s elementary schools via a random drawing who take part in their respective schools’ reading program.
