AISD sending 2 individuals, 3 relay teams to Class 6A State Track and Field Meet
Aldine ISD will send two individuals and three relay teams to the Class 6A State Track and Field Meet, set for May 11-13 in Austin.
The individuals and relay teams qualified by finishing first or second in their respective events at the Region II Track and Field Meet, held April 28-29 in Waco.
The Davis High girls’ 400-meter relay team will be heading to Austin. The team consists of Everette Griffin, Mya Lloyd, Mikayla McLaughlin, Kenaysia Dixon and Diamond Burke. The team is coached by Traneisha Allen.
The Eisenhower High girls’ 800-meter relay team also earned a trip to the state meet. The team consists of Shealyn Toler, Monique Rogers, Hannah Simmons, Darnee Williams and Sherell Bradford. The team is coached by Ahmad Roper.

The MacArthur High boys’ 800-meter relay team qualified for the Class 6A State Track and Field Meet, set for May 11-13 in Austin. Team members are: Brandon Cowart, Jayson Rubio, Stephen Patterson and Joshua Eaton.

Eisenhower High School’s George Nyakwol will compete in the triple jump at the Class 6A State Track and Field Meet, May 11-13 in Austin.

The Davis High sprinter Reynaud Jackson will compete in the 200-meter dash at the Class 6A State Track and Field Meet, May 11-13 in Austin.
