Gooooooooooool: The Cougar student-athlete once again shows he is insanely good.

[dropcap color=”#888″ type=”square”]T[/dropcap]he midfielder began by dreaming and now he is living it. Dadwin Hernández has been selected to the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches Organization’s (TASCO) Region II All-Star Team.

Dadwin continues to make a name for himself. VYPE Houston named Dadwin as the [icons icon_name=”icon-external-link” icon_size=”14px”]2017 Boys’ Soccer Preseason Player of the Year. He has a pretty impressive background in fútbol. Dadwin has been a varsity starter since his freshman year. And he was named a first-team, all-district selection as a junior.

Last spring, he was nominated to play on the [icons icon_name=”icon-external-link” icon_size=”14px”]El Salvador Under-20 Men’s Soccer National Team. Only three players throughout the United States were chosen.

H-Town fans showed their love and respect this spring. They voted him [icons icon_name=”icon-external-link” icon_size=”14px”]VYPE Houston’s 2017 Boys’ Soccer Player of the Year. How many votes did he get? A whopping 29,000-plus votes online.

The games are set for May 20 at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, TX. The games will take place at the soccer stadium.

Dadwin, who will graduate with the spring class of 2017, will have a familiar face on the field. Salvador Fernández has been selected to coach the [icons icon_name=”icon-external-link” icon_size=”14px”]TASCO All-Star Game. Fernández is the soccer coach at Nimitz HS. He will serve as the Region II 6-A representative.
