Aldine ISD says “thank you” to school, district business partners

Aldine ISD administrators and principals showed their appreciation to campus and district business partners at the District’s annual Business Partner’s Appreciation Luncheon, held Monday, June 5 at the Double-Tree Intercontinental Hotel.

Dr. Wanda Bamberg thanked the business partners for supporting schools during the 2016-17 school year. School board President Dr. Viola M. Garcia delivered the invocation.

The luncheon attracted 124 business and community partners who received certificates of appreciation for assisting schools in many ways including monetary donations, incentives for attendance and good grades, participating in Career Day and college awareness programs, and volunteering for a variety of campus projects. Principals and administrators briefly explained the role each partner played before presenting each one with a certificate. More than 240 people attended the event.

Businesses or services interested in becoming partners with campuses should contact the district’s Community and Governmental Relations office at 281-985-6202.
