In addition to following AISD on Facebook and Twitter, two apps help families stay informed.

Apps help families keep track of what is going on in AISD.

Download the official Aldine ISD app for a view of what is happening in the District and schools.

With the app, families can easily navigate through current news and events or check out the latest updates. Families can also personalize the news they want to receive such as from the school their child or children attend.

People must select “Yes” if they want to receive push notifications when they download the Aldine ISD app. The app is available for Android and iPhone devices.

Families can also view in real-time their children’s bus location on their smart phone, tablet or computer.

Through the Here Comes the Bus app, parents can select the notifications they want to receive and how. For instance, they can receive push or email notifications. The app also provides parents a customizable map to locate the bus. Families can even see if there’s a bus substitution.
