Lady Generals advance to area round of playoffs

The MacArthur High Lady Generals have advanced to the second round of the Class 6A state softball playoffs.

MacArthur defeated Klein High School in bi-district and will take on Cedar Ridge High School of Round Rock ISD in a best two-out-of-three series. Game 1 will be played on Friday, May 4 at Bryan Rudder High School beginning at 6 p.m. Game 2 will be on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Bryan Rudder High School and Game 3, if necessary, will be played on Saturday 30 minutes following Game 2.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.
