Lady Generals advance to 4th round of 6A softball playoffs

The MacArthur High Lady Generals advanced to the fourth round of the Class 6A State Softball Playoffs by sweeping Klein Oak High School 13-0 and 7-2 this past weekend for the Regional Quarter Final Championship.

The Generals will now play a two-out-of-three series against Oak Ridge High School beginning on Thursday, May 17, at 7 p.m. at the University of Houston Softball Field.

The second game will be played at Montgomery High School on Friday, May 18, at 6 p.m. If a third game is necessary, it will begin 30 minutes immediately following the second game. Ticket prices will be $6 for adults and students.

The Lady Generals are under the direction of head coach Leechelle Lara.
