Grantham Academy for Engineering Students Qualify for National Competition

Grantham Academy group shows off the state TSA TEAM trophy. Alicia Garza, Mónica Aguirre, Hailey Robinson, Aaliyah Callaway and América Flores qualified for nationals.


Grantham Academy students Alicia Garza, Mónica Aguirre, Hailey Robinson, Aaliyah Callaway and América Flores qualified for nationals in their events of the Technology Student Association (TSA) TEAMS competition.

The acronym TEAMS stands for Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics and Science. The goal is to help students discover their potential in the engineering field.

The students advanced after their results at the TSA TEAMS competition held at Texas A&M University in the spring semester.

This year’s competition will take place June 22-24 in Atlanta, Georgia.
