Eisenhower High School Celebrates CTE Month

The wide range of programs prepares students for high-demand careers and college success.

Eisenhower HS students take part in Career and Technology Education (CTE) Expo. In addition to exploring careers, a number of companies present hired students for summer jobs.

Eisenhower High School celebrated Career and Technical Education Month® in February by hosting its fourth annual Career and Technical Education (CTE) Showcase. The school’s senior class officers along with the CTE Department coordinated the event for campus students.

The showcase raised awareness about how CTE programs are preparing students with the technical and employable skills necessary for career success. 

Students also got to speak with representatives from various companies who were looking to hire for summer jobs.

Event organizers send a special “thanks” to H-E-B for providing lunch as well as Chick-fil-A and AXA Advisers for donating gift cards. Much appreciation goes out to Harris County Constable’s Office Precinct 1 for supporting the event. Constable Alan Rosen’s staff made the Criminal Justice pathway a popular stop for students.
