The East Aldine Management District recently held its 2019 Strategic Partners Celebration held on December 12 at the Greer & Lowdermilk Conference Center. One of the honorees that evening was Abel Garza, assistant superintendent of community and governmental relations, with Aldine ISD. The management district bestowed Garza with the Strategic Partner in Education Award.
The Strategic Partner Award in Education recognizes educational agencies, institutions, or individuals who are committed to helping students reach their full potential.
Garza has been involved in Aldine throughout his career for more than 20 years. He and his family have always been a part of positive community efforts, but none more important than educational services. Garza’s work was recognized for bringing the community together with government officials for the betterment of the educational resources for the area has been vital to the success of Aldine’s future.
