Aldine ISD Names 2019-2020 Principal of the Year Finalists

Aldine ISD announced the six 2019-2020 Principal of the Year finalists on January 15. The school leaders were selected for their innovative leadership and collaboration to drive improvement.

The process began with principals nominating their peers. A committee was comprised of District-level administrators who review the nominees. The top six finalists will be narrowed down to one Elementary Principal of the Year and one Secondary Principal of the Year. The committee will select the winners through a rigorous method that includes looking at academic data, effective leadership skills and the collaborative culture at a campus that drives improvement.

The two will be celebrated at the annual Educators of the Year Breakfast in March, and represent Aldine ISD in the Region 4 Principal of the Year recognition ceremony.

Congratulations to the top six Principal of the Year Finalists!
