Aldine ISD Elementary Summer Camps End in Olympic-Themed Closing Ceremony
Aldine ISD elementary students celebrate going for the G.O.L.D., during the summer opportunity to learn.
Elementary students from across the district piled into the M.O. Campbell Educational Center, toting flags from a variety of countries, banners, and Olympic torches to celebrate the end of their summer learning camp experience. The four-week summer program was offered to Aldine ISD students in Grades 1-5.
Students sang their summer campsite cheers, heard from a special guest speaker, School Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Schools, Dr. Crystal Watson, and watched a special performance by the University of Houston Cougar Cheer Squad.
