District to Celebrate College Career and Military Readiness Week November 18-22

The district has rebranded GenTX Week to CCMR Week, reflecting the event’s evolution and broader scope.

CCMR Week will include various engaging activities for prekindergarten through grade 12 students. Organizers designed the activities to promote college, career, and military readiness and encourage students to think about their future creatively and collaboratively.

Michael Minter, AISD director of college readiness, shared that CCMR Week will enhance students’ knowledge of college, career, and military pathways and build a foundation for lifelong learning and success.

“Each day will feature fun, engaging, age-appropriate activities that are not to be missed. These activities aim to inspire and inform students about their post-secondary options,” said Minter. “Our goal is to create a positive and informative experience for all Aldine students and help guide them toward a brighter future.”
