Aldine ISD to Host Marching Band and Dance Festival on October 1

The sights and sounds of drums, horns, and dance will fill the air at Thorne Stadium as Aldine ISD presents the annual Marching Band and Dance Festival next month.

This year’s theme, Fine Arts on the 50, will showcase the incredible talents and school spirit of students from all six Aldine ISD high schools.

Admission is free and open to the entire community.

Audiences will experience dynamic performances by marching bands and dance teams from:

• Aldine High School
• Davis High School
• Eisenhower High School
• MacArthur High School
• Nimitz High School

The festival serves as the Pre-UIL contest for marching band, giving students an opportunity to prepare for UIL competition while also showcasing the talent and dedication of Aldine ISD’s fine arts programs. For the first time, drill teams will join the lineup, bringing even more excitement and school spirit to the evening.

The festival promises fun for the whole family.
