Returning Families Required to Complete Annual Update for the 2026–27 School Year
As Aldine ISD prepares to welcome students for the 2026–2027 school year, families of returning students should complete the required Annual Update as soon as possible.
The Annual Update helps ensure that each student’s campus has the most current information needed to communicate with families, respond in emergencies, support student services, and maintain accurate district and state records. Completing the Annual Update before the start of school also helps provide a smoother beginning to the school year for students and their families.
The Annual Update is required every school year for all returning students, even if your family’s information has not changed.
“Completing the Annual Update each year helps ensure our schools have the information they need to support every student from the very first day of school,” said Bryan Savant, executive director of the AISD Student Services Department. “We encourage families to take just a few minutes to review their information so we can stay connected and provide the best possible service throughout the school year.”
Complete the Annual Update Through Home Access Center (HAC)
Families can complete the Annual Update online through the Home Access Center (HAC).
At least one parent or legal guardian must have a HAC account to access and complete the Annual Update.

Information Families Will Review
During the Annual Update, families will be asked to review or update information, including:
→ Home address (proof of residency is required if the address has changed)
→ Parent or legal guardian contact information
→ Emergency contacts
→ Student health information, including food allergies
→ Transportation preferences
→ Military or foster care status
→ Sibling information
→ Student Code of Conduct acknowledgment
→ Permissions regarding the release of student information
→ Household Income Survey
Why the Household Income Survey Matters
Every family is required to complete the Household Income Survey each year.
The information collected helps Aldine ISD determine eligibility for important state and federal funding that supports educational programs and services for students. It also helps determine whether the district can continue offering programs such as free breakfast and lunch for all students, free dual credit classes, and free college applications.
Information provided through the survey is kept confidential and is used only for these purposes.
Need Assistance?
Families who need assistance creating a HAC account or completing the Annual Update should contact their child’s school. Campus staff members are available to provide free assistance and answer questions about the process.
Access Student Information All Year Long
A Home Access Center account provides parents and guardians with year-round access to their student’s:
- Class schedule
- Attendance
- Grades
- Report cards
- Academic history
- Bus routes
- And more
Families who have not yet completed the Annual Update should do so as soon as possible to help ensure a successful start to the 2026–27 school year.
