Aldine ISD’s Michael Jackson Named Region 4 Elementary Teacher of the Year Finalist

Aldine ISD’s Michael Jackson, a teacher at Anderson Academy, was named one of the finalists for the 2027 Region 4 Elementary Teacher of the Year.

Jackson was selected as Aldine ISD’s 2026 Elementary Teacher of the Year in March, earning him the opportunity to advance to the Region 4 Education Service Center Teacher of the Year program. He joined Aldine ISD’s 2026 Secondary Teacher of the Year, Sheree Stubblefield, in representing the district at the regional level.

As one of the elementary finalists, Jackson was recognized alongside outstanding educators from school districts across the Greater Houston area during Region 4 ESC’s Teacher of the Year celebration on August 6 at the Marriott Marquis Houston.

While Jackson was not selected as the 2027 Region 4 Elementary Teacher of the Year, his selection as a finalist is a tremendous accomplishment and reflects his dedication to his students and the teaching profession.
