Aldine ISD Schools Welcome Families to Fall Open Houses in September

Meet teachers, learn about the school year, and discover what makes your child’s school a place to belong.

Aldine ISD schools are opening their doors this September to welcome families for Fall Open House events.

Open House is an opportunity for parents and guardians to meet their child’s teachers, learn more about classroom expectations and routines, ask questions, and become familiar with the school community. For students, seeing their classrooms, meeting their teachers, and connecting with their school can help build confidence and excitement about the school year.

Open House is for everyone — whether your child is already an Aldine ISD student or your family is considering Aldine ISD for the first time. Families exploring their school options are encouraged to attend, meet campus staff, and learn more about the opportunities available to students.

Each campus has its own Open House schedule, so families should note the date and time for their child’s school. Families considering enrollment are encouraged to check the schedule for the campus they plan to visit.

Special Campus Circumstances

To accommodate its large student population and provide a more convenient experience for families, Johnson Elementary School will host Open House over two evenings. Families of students in grades 1-3 will attend Tuesday, Sept. 15, and families of students in grades 4-5 will attend Wednesday, Sept. 16. The two-day format will also help ease parking congestion at the campus.
