Mark Your Calendars: The District’s Partners of Excellence Meetings Kick Off on September 30

Partners of Excellence will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at the Donaldson Administrative Building in the Boardroom. These meetings continue to build a strong, supportive relationship that benefits students, schools, and communities throughout Aldine ISD.

“Our faith-based leaders are not just partners, but integral pillars of Aldine ISD,” said Dr. LaTonya M. Goffney, Aldine ISD Superintendent. “They reach deep into our communities, helping spread the good news about what’s happening in our schools.”

This unique partnership includes district leaders, local pastors, ministers, and religious organizations. Together, they develop strategies, initiatives, and programs such as mentorship programs, after-school activities, and community outreach events to positively impact student achievement.

This powerful partnership between Aldine ISD and religious organizations is actively fostered by the Aldine ISD Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Department.

Fostering Stronger Community Ties

“Faith-based leaders in Aldine ISD are not just about partnership — it’s about building hope for the next generation,” said FACE Specialist, Nancy Gauthier.

The FACE Department is committed to strengthening partnerships with faith-based leaders. We ensure they feel empowered to support our schools by providing them with resources, training, and opportunities for them to engage with our students and families. We also encourage them to lead initiatives to support the overall wellness of our students and families.

“The Partners of Excellence have celebrated our successes and shared the incredible work happening in the classroom with the community,” said Goffney. “It gives me great joy to have the support of these wonderful group leaders.”
