Grants

Grants is a division of the Finance Department in Aldine ISD. We are dedicated to supervising federal, state & local grants for compliance. We provide leadership, guidance & direction for special revenue funds, ensuring exemplary service in budgeting and financial procedures.

Mission

Our mission is to serve all students by ensuring they have access to high-quality education by effectively implementing student-focused programs, such as:

  • Every Student Success Act Grant
  • Individuals with Disabilities Education Act Grant
  • Perkins Grant

Grant Funds and Administration

Grant funds provide supplemental funding to qualifying campuses and departments to enhance educational programs for Aldine students.  Our department is responsible for applying for and setting up budgets according to award letters or Notice of Grant Awards (NOGA).  We maintain accounting records and complete all financial reports.  We will collaborate with district personnel to ensure grants are deployed per the Notice of Grant Award.

Grant Policies

Each grant has specific provisions & assurances. Any questions about federal or state law should be directed to [email protected].
