Members of the Tuskegee Airmen made their annual visit to Aldine ISD the week of Oct. 11-14. The school is named in honor of the first commander of the Tuskegee Airmen. The district’s newest high school will open in August 2012. In addition to touring the school, the airmen shared their life stories with intermediate, middle and high school students during their weeklong stay. They also attended the Eisenhower-Aldine football game on Oct. 14.
