Local Puppeteer Visits Keeble EC/PK Center

Julie Cowan, a local puppeteer and storyteller, visited Keeble EC/PK Center with her Mother Goose Nursery Rhyme presentation. Nursery rhymes are used to help young children build vocabulary and improve their speech.  This is a vastly important learning skill that prekindergarten students need. The children were fascinated with everything Cowan did, especially being able to feed carrots to her rabbit, Chomper. This was an excellent learning experience for the students.
