Texas A&M Representatives Visit Eisenhower Seniors

Two representatives from Texas A&M University visited with students on December 5 to discuss the importance of attending college.

Cynthia Hernández, assistant vice president for student affairs at Texas A&M University, shared her experiences as a student at the Eisenhower High School where she graduated in 1990. She also related how she made the decision to attend Texas A&M and what college life was like for her.

Roger Martínez, senior associate director of admissions at Texas A&M University, was also on hand to award two $500 scholarships to Victor Flores and Renell Henry who are planning to attend Texas A&M.

Also present was Shana Castillo, Texas A&M Houston area recruiter.
