Keeble EC/PK Offers Saturday ESL Classes for Adults

Since 1998, Keeble EC/PK Center has received state grants to provide educational classes to parents and community members. Funding cuts from the state have reduced the 16-week programs to eight weeks. As a result, class sizes have increased considerably.

The cuts has also affected the variety of classes Keeble EC/PK offered to adults — GED, computer, ESL I, ESL II, Children I, Children II and a parenting course. The 16-session classes used to be offered in the fall and spring. Now, the campus is only able to offer eight-session classes of Children I, Children II, ESL I and ESL II. The classes will only be offered in the spring semester.
