Nimitz High Athletes Sign Letters of Intent for Sports Scholarships

On Wednesday, February 27, the following students signed National Letters of Intent: (seated l-r) football players Cicero Miller, Jordan Thomas and Orrin Lee signed with Bacone College; volleyball player Hailee Showers is headed to Navarro College while football players Marcus Starghill, Christian Hernández, Keddrick Fuselier, and Davont’e Edwards signed with Bacone College. Also present at the signing were (standing, l-r) Xavita Moore, Nimitz Athletic Academic Advisor; Robert Toomer, Nimitz head football coach and campus athletic coordinator; Kasey McBreaty, Navarro College head coach; Lea Sims-Nguyen, Nimitz volleyball coach; Richard Delgado, Aldine ISD director of athletics; Sandra Mader, AISD director of athletic services; and Ivan Hepworth, assistant principal of Nimitz High.
