6th Annual ASK Metro Crawfish Festival Set for May 18

The sixth annual ASK (Aldine, Spring Klein) Metro Crawfish Festival will be held on Saturday, May 18 at Papa’s Ice House in Spring.

The event will run from noon to 6 p.m. Proceeds benefit the ASK Metro Go Texan Committee, which provides college scholarships to students in Aldine ISD, Spring ISD and Klein ISD.

More than $600,000 in scholarships were awarded through the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo to the youth in Aldine ISD, Spring ISD and Klein ISD in 2012.

Advance tickets are $25 and $27.50 on the day of the event. For more information, or to purchase tickets, contact Pete Stewart at (281) 985-7571 or (281) 985-8583. A ticket will provide participants with all the crawfish they can eat. In addition, the Cool Cat Chili Contest will also take place during the day.
