The Hill Performers of Hill Intermediate School participated in the Children’s Music Festival of Houston in Aldine ISD this spring. This year’s performance marked the third year in a row that The Hill Performers earned two special awards. The group received the Bravo Award, which is given to the group that exhibits the best behavior throughout the festival. The young performers also earned the Best Performance on Soprano Recorder Award.
Colleen Riddle, Aldine ISD program director of elementary performing arts education, is the founder and coordinating director of the Children’s Music Festival of Houston in AISD, which showcases elementary choral and instrumental ensembles in the greater Houston area.
Congratulations to all the students!
