Davis High Educator Receives TxDLA Award for Excellence

Congratulations go out to Veronica Johnson, online learning lab instructor at Davis High School. She was recently honored at the annual Texas Distance Learning Association (TxDLA) Conference held recently in Galveston. Johnson (pictured) won the John A. Baker Memorial Award for Excellence in K-12 Distance Learning. This award recognizes K-12 teachers for their work in distance learning. Any K-12 teacher working in public, private, or charter school settings in Texas is eligible and the winner receives $500 cash, complimentary registration to the Annual Meeting/Conference and Awards Dinner, and complimentary annual TxDLA membership for the year.
