Campus Teacher of the Year: Black Elementary

One of Aldine ISD’s campus teachers of the year who will be honored at the [icons icon_name=”icon-external-link” icon_size=”14px”] Teacher of the Year Breakfast on March 7, 2014.

When asked about her teaching philosophy, she responded:

Teaching is what the world needs in order to evolve. At one point everyone is a teacher, either to teach a topic, a theory, or a life skill to another individual. However the true teachers are the ones that have a flame with which they use to brighten the path for their students in order for them to reach success. Being an educator is a selfless profession as one is constantly putting the needs of others ahead of one’s own. There is however no other profession that I would ever see myself in.
