Campus Teacher of the Year: Hinojosa EC/PK

One of Aldine ISD’s campus teachers of the year who will be honored at the [icons icon_name=”icon-external-link” icon_size=”14px”] Teacher of the Year Breakfast on March 7, 2014.

When asked about her teaching philosophy, she responded:

The best way to ensure student learning is to reach them at their level, know them, their family and of course knowing what is popular for their age, every year is different from their love of Barney to Spiderman. As I learn who my students are and gain their trust they begin to learn and I can begin to teach higher level thinking skills in a fun new way. My goal for my students is for them to develop a love for school and to grow academically while having fun!
