When asked about her teaching philosophy, she responded:

It is my belief that I am setting the foundation for a child’s lifelong quest of learning. Some students come to school armed with a wealth of information, while others are experiencing the educational arena for the first time. It is my task to provide opportunities for the children to build background information, link their learning to real world happenings, and to help them gain confidence in their newfound skills so they can experience success through their learning.
