When asked about her teaching philosophy, she responded:

Science is exciting! My students act out equations and pretend to be molecules. My physics students design and build bridges. We test, analyze, and discover how things relate to the real world. I challenge my students to discuss issues intellectually by collecting data to support their points of view. My overarching goal is for my students to understand how science connects and interacts with their daily lives. And I believe that every student can be a successful student of science.
