Campus Teacher of the Year: MacArthur 9th

One of Aldine ISD’s campus teachers of the year who will be honored at the [icons icon_name=”icon-external-link” icon_size=”14px”] Teacher of the Year Breakfast on March 7, 2014.

When asked about her teaching philosophy, she responded:

I believe that as educators we owe it to our students to give them the benefit of our education and experiences. For most students we are their window to the world. I believe it is our responsibility to introduce them to new concepts and ideas to help broaden their horizons. In my particular field of health and wellness I believe it is especially important to provide students with relevant information that can impact their health and wellness throughout their lives. This I find to be rewarding.
